I would say holiday caroling but I'm not that PC. But it is my friend Kelly's gig and she is jewish so I'm sure that all are welcome. This is an event to benefit the Center for Elderly Suicide Prevention. Besides grief counseling they also have a 24-hour telephone hotline for depressed elders. So throughout the year they sponsor different events to cheer up them old folks and this is one of them.
It is sure to be THE feel good event of the holiday season. And we can probably sneak some liquor on board.

Christmas Day Dinner with the Homeless
Fri, November 18, 2005 - 6:23 PMAlso, Ellard and I volunteer annually on Christmas for an event in North Beach. We cook christmas dinner with about 20 other volunteers for the homeless citizens of North Beach then eat ith them. It is a fun day, then we end up going out afterwards with the cooks! If anyone is interested, the food and company are great and the afterparty is always raukus!

Re: Cable Car Christmas Caroling - December 11
Mon, November 21, 2005 - 1:06 AMSO....this is a meet at 3pm, cars roll at 4. Here's the update though. It is a "please donate" event. Kelly said they are asking for 435 per head however I am inclined to believe that as the event gets closer and they haven't filled the cable cars that this will be negotiable. We can feel it out more on the 1st at Chad and Kellys place. In other words though, no obligation unless you really want to be the samaritan by singing and giving up some dough. -

Re: Cable Car Christmas Caroling - December 11
Mon, December 12, 2005 - 2:58 PMDue to illness ... I sadly was not able to make it caroling. If I am here (and the chances now are extremely high that I will be), I too am very interested in volunteering on xmas day!
